Austmine is the leading industry association for the Australian Mining Equipment, Technology and Services (METS) sector. We champion the advancement of mining innovation and technology worldwide, helping our members connect, grow and thrive.

As a not-for-profit, our mission is simple: to accelerate the success of the METS community by opening doors to new partnerships, strengthening the connection between miners and suppliers, and positioning Australian innovation at the forefront of global resources development.

For over 30 years, Austmine has been the original industry association for Australian METS, advocating for its recognition as a world leader in mining innovation and technology. Our membership now represents over 750 METS companies nationally, reflecting the impressive diversity of the Australian METS sector.

Established in 2010, Miners’ Promise is a specialised, trauma informed, crisis support agency. We are a registered charity providing practical, emotional and financial support to mining, energy and resources sector families and communities in times of crisis.

Indigenous Women in Mining and Resources Australia (IWIMRA) was founded in 2017 to create a stronger connection amongst Indigenous women in Australia. IWIMRA partners with industry to continually raise the profile of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women and to contribute to best practice solutions.

Through our lived experiences and our narrative of Indigenous intersectionality, it is our priority to ensure the visibility, voice and quality participation of Indigenous women. 

IWIMRA aspires to lead with clarity and purpose. Working with industry to build solutions-driven, cross-culture influential relationships, that will continue to contribute towards our sustainable future.
